Brady Licht

I’m a learning designer and digital learning specialist based in Rapid City, South Dakota, working with educators and organizations across the Great Plains. I write about what educational technology actually owes the people who use it, build open-source tools and resources that put educators in control of their own solutions, and try to close the gap between what technology could do for learning and what it’s usually asked to do. This site is where I share that work.

If you’re new to the site, these four are the best places to get a sense of it:

• Vibe Coding in EdTech, a running thread on building small tools with AI assistance and who holds design authority
• Homegrown Learning, a Creative Commons book for trainers on designing from local context
• Cases, project debriefs with honest notes on what worked and what I’d change
• Canvas Design System, an atomic design template for Canvas courses, free to copy
